Business Development Manager- Synergy Team

Job Description

  • Improve market position and achieve financial growth by defining long-term strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
  • Work closely with sales team, marketing staff, and other teams to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue by reaching new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future.
  • Help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive by keep in continuous contact with clients, and make presentations on solutions and services that meet clients’ future needs.
  • Identify areas for expansion and development.
  • Work with management to identify and evaluate new markets, and develop new business strategy to encompass regional business growth.
  • Drive/work with the sales & presales team for:
  • Generate sales leads, identify and evaluate new profitable business opportunities.
  • Efficiently retain regular contact and relation with identified prospects and leads.
  • Handle Product development, certification and support initiatives.
  • Initiate and complete proposals and presentation for new business opportunities
  • Create bi-weekly/monthly forecast on OB/Revenue target and market performance.
  • Educate potential customers on new areas of opportunities for our products/solutions.
  • Achieve own targets and lead team to achieve team target.
  • Create joint go-to-market plans with vendors to maximize marketing and sales effectiveness.
  • Receive regular pipeline and sales status reports concerning the vendor products to monitor actual versus budget and calculate deviation.
  • Keep an eye on the competition (pricing / capabilities / weaknesses).
  • Arrange for the required marketing events, technical sessions, and seminars for the products inside (to the sales / presales staff / customer interface employees) and outside (customers / consultants / other partners) the company. 
  • Arrange for liaison with the customer's focal point, ask for customer follow up and satisfaction report and inform sales and presales before such action.
  • Conduct status meeting with the Sales & Presales team at the end of each month to represent status, deviation and how to be back to original plan.
  • Have technical overview knowledge of the selected different products enhanced through attending (with presales) regular technical training sessions offered by the vendor.
  • Coordinate between the vendor, relevant managers, and sales team to help define strategies for the vendor products.
  • Consolidate and distribute a global company/vendor business plan.
  • Have monthly report from HR about trained/certified persons over the course of the year.
  • Inform the company training department with the available training programs from the vendor for sales, presales, and support.
  • Hire/recruit local resources as agreed to in the business plan.
  • Lead, coach & appraise his/her direct subordinates, as well as prepare their development & training plan.

Personal Skills

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity tools.
  • Excellent communications, presentations, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of English language. 

Technical Skills

• Plus 4 years' experience in similar business domain.
• BSC. in Electrical, Communication, Computer Engineering, and/or Business Administration.
• Have a strong understanding of company products, competition in the market and positioning.
• Proven working experience in the IT business, Presales or a relevant role.
• Excellent Infrastructure, and Software Solutions knowledge.
• Excellent Infrastructure, and Software market knowledge.
• Fast Learner, enthusiastic and willing to learn and understand technological / IT solutions.
• Possess “can do” attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, practical creativity, a strong determination, and commitment to deliver results.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
• Time management and planning skills.
• Ability to build rapport.

Education

BSC. in Electrical, Communication, Computer Engineering, and/or Business Administration.
