Job Description
- Design and implement SRM solutions for critical applications and infrastructure components.
- Define and document recovery plans, including recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs).
- Conduct thorough testing of disaster recovery plans through regular drills and simulations.
- Integrate SRM with other relevant tools and systems (e.g., vCenter, Aria suite, vCloud).
- Manage tenant access, quotas, and resource allocation for vCD.
- Troubleshoot and resolve vCloud Director-related issues for tenants and administrators.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including upgrades, patches, and backups.
- Monitor vCloud Director performance and resource utilization.
- Configure and manage vCloud Director replication and failover capabilities.
- vCD certificate renewals – SSL published through internet & Internal
- Automate vCloud Director tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Should be aware of VCF path and prepared to import vCD to VCF 9 in future.
