Job Description

The Training & Development Senior Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning programs to enhance employee capabilities and performance, particularly within the technology sector. This role requires strong expertise in identifying training needs, developing learning strategies, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Needs Analysis:

    • Assess organizational and individual development needs through surveys, interviews, performance data, and consultation with managers.
    • Identify skills gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions.
  2. Program Design & Development:

    • Design and develop engaging, technology-driven learning programs, workshops, and e-learning modules.
    • Tailor training content to meet specific business objectives and technology trends.
  3. Program Delivery:

    • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
    • Coordinate with external trainers and vendors when necessary.
  4. Evaluation & Improvement:

    • Measure training effectiveness using KPIs, feedback, and performance metrics.
    • Continuously improve programs based on data analysis and feedback.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to align learning strategies with organizational goals.
    • Provide coaching and support to managers in employee development practices.
  6. Technology Integration:

    • Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies to incorporate innovative learning methods. 

Personal Skills

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in e-learning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Technical Skills

Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the technology industry.
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Oracle. Knowledge of e-learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI.Basic understanding of Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) and SCORM/AICC compliance.
Experience with virtual collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Webex.
Knowledge of project management tools.
Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs.
Strong background in using digital learning platforms and tools

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
