Job Description
A strong background in robotics, automation, and industrial engineering. Responsible for conducting research, designing robotic systems, developing software, creating prototypes, and optimizing the functionality of robotic systems. Additionally, this role will need to stay updated with advancements in robotics and relevant fields of engineering.
- Conduct research to determine the parameters of a robotic application.
- Assist in designing robotic systems from start to finish.
- Develop and implement software that will control robots.
- Create prototypes and work on necessary components (e.g., microprocessors).
- Develop cost-effective and efficient processes to produce the machines.
- Create complete documentation for robotic systems.
- Monitor the use of robotic systems and optimize their functionality.
- Troubleshoot defects in the robot design.
- Keep abreast of advancements in robotics and relevant fields of engineering.
- Assess project requirements and system specifications based on international standards, industrial requirements, and regulations.
- Develop manufacturing drawings and Bill of Materials.
- Design Electro-Mechanical components and follow up on implementation.
- Select the components required to execute the design.
- Develop and test design models with the use of software programs to assess feasibility.
- Assist in the development and applying test plans.
- Integrate the system and perform initial and field tests.
- Participate in product assembly.
- Attend coordination/kick-off meetings as necessary.
- Investigate the cause of equipment and system failures and fix them.
- Recommend design modifications to ensure there will be no malfunctions in the system or in the machine.

Technical Skills
Having a strong knowledge Motion Control Devices: Servo systems, stepper motors, drives, robotics and related componentsAutomation Products: Motion controllers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), I/O devices and systems for supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).Industrial Controls: Linear and rotary feedback devices, motor control & protection, contactors, relays, circuit breakers, power supplies, wireless control, enclosures, enclosure climate control, signal lights, pushbuttons & selector switches, safety devices.Having a strong command of programming languages, such as Java for backend development, Python for scripting and data analysis, or C++ for system programming, is a advantage
Education
B.Sc. of Engineering with a specialization in Electronic or Communications.
