Job Description
Design, develop, or evaluate energy-related in industrial sectors to reduce energy costs or improve energy efficiency & optimization. Renewable energy system integration takes initial system concept ideas and turns them into fully detailed ready designs.
- Perform energy modeling, measurement, verification, commissioning, or retro commissioning.
- Manage the development of energy optimization and renewable energy integration projects, to ensure acceptability of budgets and time lines, conformance to governmental laws, or adherence to approved specifications.
- Analyze, interpret, or create graphical representations of energy data, using engineering software.
- Monitor and analyze energy consumption.
- Perform energy modeling, measurement, verification, commissioning, or retro commissioning.
- Verify initial system layout and gear location specified by sales person.
- Complete system designs for PV projects including: site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of BOS location and interconnection details, and labeling
- Interface and provide streamlined project information and detailed bill of materials.
- Understand the optimal design applications and design limitations of our standard products, and lead the evaluation of alternate products
- Prepare energy-related project reports or related documentation.
- Train personnel or clients on topics such as energy management.
- Promote awareness or use of alternative or renewable energy sources.
Personal Skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
- Strong English verbal / written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Technical Skills
• Any additional experience with machine wiring and panel wiring is preferred
• Competence in AutoCAD electrical or E-planning is mandatory
• Competence in PV-Sol ( Design & Simulation S/W) is mandatory
• BS degree in Electrical Engineer or related discipline preferred
• Knowledge of photovoltaic systems, NEC requirements, construction practices
Education
Bachelor degree in any Electrical Engineering
