Job Description

The Presales Manager – Smart Solutions is responsible for leading presales activities, developing technical solutions, and supporting sales teams in delivering innovative smart building and smart city solutions. The role involves engaging with clients, understanding their needs, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring the feasibility of solutions in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Presales & Solution Development

  • Develop and present smart building solutions, including ELV systems, AV, BMS, security, automation, and energy management.
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify opportunities and design tailored solutions based on client needs.
  • Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, RFP responses, and solution demonstrations.
  • Conduct site visits, assessments, and feasibility studies for smart building projects.

Client Engagement & Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
  • Engage with clients to gather requirements and ensure proposed solutions align with their business objectives.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical workshops.

Technical & Industry Expertise

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies in smart buildings, AV, AI, Automation solutions, and physical security.
  • Work with technology partners and vendors to integrate new solutions into offerings.
  • Provide competitive analysis and market insights to improve solution positioning.

Project & Proposal Management

  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, operations) to ensure seamless proposal development.
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory, technical, and operational standards.
  • Support sales in contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and risk assessment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Communication, Electrical, or related fields).
  • 10+ years of experience in presales, technical consulting, or solution architecture for smart buildings or ELV systems.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS, AV, AI-driven automation, security systems, smart Parking, and fire alarm solutions.
  • Experience working with intelligent transportation, and integrated security solutions is a plus.
  • Proven track record in delivering high-value technical proposals and solution designs.



Personal Skills

  •  Strong technical expertise in smart building technologies and ELV systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in design tools and software used for solution architecture.

 

 

Technical Skills

- Building Management Systems (BMS) - HVAC control, lighting automation, energy management, and integration with IoT.- Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Systems - CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, structured cabling, IPTV, and intrusion detection.- Home & Office Automation - KNX, BACnet, Modbus, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and proprietary automation platforms.- Smart Lighting & Energy Efficiency - DALI, DMX, and PoE-based lighting solutions.- System Integration & Middleware - OPC-UA, API integration, MQTT, and middleware platforms for interoperability.
