Senior VMware Engineer - VCN

VAS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMware Senior System Engineer to join our team and play a key role in managing and supporting our VMware NSX and VCF environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of VMware technologies, including NSX, VCF, and vSphere, and be able to design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex virtualized network and cloud infrastructure solutions.

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware NSX-T environments for network virtualization and microsegmentation.

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments for private cloud infrastructure.

• Manage and troubleshoot vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, VMs, and storage.

• Automate NSX and VCF deployments and configurations using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.

• Perform ongoing health checks and maintenance of the VMware environment.

• Troubleshoot complex network and cloud infrastructure issues.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest VMware technologies and best practices.

• Provide technical support to internal teams and users.

• Document procedures and configurations.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
