Senior BI Developer

Senior BI Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of Business Intelligence (BI) reports.Working with cross-functional teams, They will participate in gathering and documenting reporting requirements to meet business needs.

Using skills and experience as a BI Developer, they will use the reporting requirements to design, develop, test and implement reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data store(s)/ data warehouse(s) & data mart(s).

Responsibilities:

• Work with internal clients and cross functional teams to gather business requirements and evaluate data requirements by using data profiling to create source to target data mappings.
• Translate user requirements into technical architecture vision and implementation plans, going from design to implementation to production support.
• Ensure consistent use of internal information architecture standards.
• Use Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, Integration Services, Reporting Services and Power BI.
• Build a data pipeline to enable data integration from disparate, large data sources. Drive collection of new data, refinement of existing data sources, working with Data Governance to ensure compliance of data standards.
• Develop detailed technical specifications, User Guides, Create new reports, maintain and support current active reports.
• Support production issues and maintenance as necessary – acts as a second level support for troubleshooting and resolves reporting and BI related reports / databases.
• Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reports and develop strategies for enhancing reporting capabilities.
• Provide technical assistance and training to less experienced team members.
• Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations & Support team.

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.
