AI System Development Section Head

The AI Systems Development Section Head is responsible for leading and managing a team of AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence. This role oversees the successful development and delivery of innovative, AI-powered products and services, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. The Section Head provides technical guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction to the diverse development team, while also serving as a key liaison between the team and other business stakeholders.

• Deep technical expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), data engineering and big data tools (e.g., Hadoop Eco-System, AirFlow, ELK Stack), and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with ML Platforms (DataRobot, Dataiku, Alteryx), Data Platforms (Cloudera Data Platform) and Cloud ML Engines. (e.g., Azure ML, Amazon Sage Maker).
• Proven experience dealing with various multi-modal machine learning tasks and data types including tabular, time-series, image, GenAI, and text data.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
• Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices for AI systems development.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, and complex AI-driven product or service development environment.
• Proven experience in managing a team of 20-30 experts in AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to address complex technical and organizational challenges in AI systems development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
